Away from the sand dunes of Thar and mountains of Aravali, the basic knowledge, significance and awareness about Teej, Gangaur, Dhola – Maru, Rana Sangha, Rana Pratap, Birla, Bangur, Gujjar, Meena, Ghoomar, Kalbelia, Dal - Bati – Churma all terminology so unique to Rajasthan’s rich culture and heritage seem to have lost their meaning. Not only for us, but painfully more so for the next generation …the young and upcoming generation.
